Wayang Kancil merupakan salah satu ragam wayang kulit yang diciptakan pertama kali oleh Sunan Giri, yang kemudian di populerkan lagi oleh seorang Tionghoa bernama Babah Bo Liem, tahun 1925.1. Wayang kancil memiliki figur-figur tokoh binatang berupa binatang buruan, binatang merangkak, binatang merayap, binatang yang terbang yang termasuk dalam dongeng Kancil dan beberapa manusia seperti Pak. Pada 1980 ketika koleksi wayang kancil hasil karyanya lengkap, Ki Ledjar mulai aktif memopulerkan wayang kancil melalui pertunjukan kesenian ini di berbagai tempat.
